This natural coffee jumped out at us this year on the cupping table and we are excited to share it with you!

This coffee comes from Fazenda Das Almas which is owned and managed by the Muniz family in Cabo Verde. Considered a pioneer, Adriano’s father started the coffee production in 1965 and taught him everything.

The family cares deeply for the environment and social topics. 37% of the farm’s land is native preservation areas - it has 7,000 meters of ecological corridors and 21 water springs. In 2017 the family set up a generator driven by an engine that works at the expense of biogas. In 2023, solar panels were installed as well. They have been self-sufficient in electricity, contributing also to the city’s energy supply.
